Unit 2 - Carbohydrates, Lipids and Proteins - This unit covers the characteristics of biochemical groups carbohydrates, lipids and proteins.
Unit 3 - Enzymes and Hormones - This unit covers characteristics of chemicals which control processes, including enzymes and hormones.
Unit 4 - Nucleic Acids - This unit covers the role of nucleic acids in the biology of animals.
Unit 5 - Absorption - This unit covers the processes of digestion & absorption in animals.
Unit 6 - Acidity and Alkalinity - This unit covers the characteristics of acidity and alkalinity in relation to animals.
Unit 7 - Introduction To Biomolecules - This unit covers the principles and practices of biochemistry.
Unit 8 - Amino Acids - This unit covers the structural characteristics and other properties that differentiate amino acids.
Unit 9 - Proteins - This unit covers the structure of proteins.
Unit 10 - Lipids and Membranes - This unit covers the composition and structure of both lipids and membranes.
Unit 11 - Vitamins - This unit covers the structure and dynamics of different types of vitamins.
