We asked Lynette - TISOVN Student some questions about her experience with TISOVN.

 

Q) Which course/s are you studying?

A) Advanced Certificate in Veterinary Nursing, Certificate in Leporidae Care, Certificate in Bovine Care, Certificate in Caprine Care and Certificate in Poultry Care.

 

Q) What do you like about the course/s you are studying?

A) The units are well put together and actually relate to the assessments, which are also easy to understand. I love that the assessments for the Advanced Certificate in Veterinary Nursing are things that you can take into the clinic and use.

 

Q) If more than one course, which one is your favourite and why?

A) I’m not very far through them, but if I had to pick one, it would probably be the Certificate in Leporidae Care. I have three bunnies, one being end stage dental disease and I’m currently providing her with palliative care. I think it’s going to be very helpful.

 

Q) Why did you decide to study those course/s?

A) I’ve always wanted to do vet nursing and while at my previous placement, I was lucky enough to go out on some call outs to see those animals. Which made me want to learn more about them.

A) Facebook

 

Q) Why did you choose TISOVN as your preferred institution?

A) After asking lots of questions before enrolling it was clear that TISOVN offered so much more for their students than other institutions. 

 

Q) What do you like most about TISOVN? 

A) You’re not just a student number to them, but a person. They really listen to their students and don’t make you feel silly about asking questions, also how super quick their grading is.

 

Q) What's your big life's dream?

To be an Exotics Veterinary Nurse.

 

Q) Any advice to give to new students?

A) Honestly, just go for it. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I haven’t regretted any of it.
